FEL Bypass Pressure Setting
New to your list and the previous posts on this have been helpful. I have a 770 Ford FEL and want to set bypass valve release pressure. Dealer says he doesn't have old information such as this. Is there a conservative value I can set it at? Tractor bypass operates (Ford 1700 series) at 2140 PSI. I noticed another post stating a similar tractor rating but loader which bypass operated at 1800 PSI. Would that be a conservative value to use or do I need the specification for this unit in particular before proceeding? Thanks, Dean

Re: FEL Bypass Pressure Setting
I have the manual for the 770B loader which was on the 1710 I used to have. The relief valve for the loader is specified at 1600 psi. No relief valve is required on 1910 which is a larger frame tractor.
Hope this helps.
Andy
