help!.oil leaking around exhaust manifold on B7100
My 1994 Kubota B7100 has black sludge oily goop leaking around #3 exhaust cyl. I removed the exhaust & found #1&2 cyl. dry & #3 shiny & wet with oil. It seems to still run good, no noticable extra smoke, it starts right up. I have noticed some blow by coming from the crankcase tube, not excessive or no oil dripping from it. The tractor has about 900hrs on it regularly serviced. Any help will be appreciated.

Does it use oil?
Suspect the head will have to come off to properly find out whats happening but please remember I am not a mechanic. Just have a 7100 with 2200 hours on it.

Re: help!.oil leaking around exhaust manifold on B7100
A problem with the injector putting too much fuel in #3 cylinder ?
Maybe a compression problem, ie not enough compression in #3 to properly burn the fuel ?
Just a couple of thoughts. Good luck.

I'm going to try a new air filter/ oil change. If that doesnt work, i will check the injector.....crossing my fingers hoping its not a broken ring.
Thanks

I cannot imagine how oil and filter changes would have any effect on such a problem.

I've been running it in very dusty conditions....so i was hoping maybe a air filter change may help? I just serviced it, now i'll have to run it & see what happens...will keep you posted.
Thanks

Re: Bird
Best do a little more tear down before something gets really damaged.
