I developed a leak in a fuel line on my tractor which I had posted about here
I am not quite sure about what type of fuel line I need to get.
The original line on the tractor has braiding on the outside. However the auto parts stores I have tried only carry smooth fuel line. Is smooth okay or should I replace with braided? Is the fuel line sold at auto parts stores safe for diesel?
The other problem I am running into is trying to find metric fuel line. 1/4 inch fuel line fits for going into the pump.
For the return line I tried some 3/16 fuel line, but the fit is just a little loose. I am guessing that the problem is that the fittings are metric.
Is there a place I can order fuel line online so I can get exactly what I need?
