I'm removing inj pump for cleaning. it is the type that has its own oil reservoir(two small dipsticks) made by Bosch/Kiki, I think, and my tractor is a 2 cyl, 27 hp (and I hate to say this, because everyone says I am not correct) YM 276. I know I am correct because it is stamped in the clutch housing, on engine tag, etc. I have remove all securing nuts(4) but pump seeems to be hung up and won't come free. Surely I don't have to dissassemble the front of the timing cover, remove hyd pump, and all that. Any suggestions.

I just replaced my injector pump on my chinese tractor, and yes I had to remove the the inspection cover off of the timing case. There is a gear on the inside of the case that is attached to the injector pump with 3 mounting bolts, after removing the bolts there is one nut that attaches the gear to the pump with a keyway pin, if you remove the nut the pump will come out. Make sure you mark the position of gear and pump to help on reassembly. Good Luck
