I have a great running B20 Kubota, but it's getting kind of sloppy. I have to replace the throw out bearing and rebuild the front end, so the TL420 loader has to come off anyway. I was thinking to throw the loader parts on the milling machine and bore out the bushings to round, and then weld in bushings with standard I. D., then ream to size if necessary. Seems like a lot of work (well, fun, really), but I can't think of a better way. Same situation with the BT 750 hoe. Is this the right approach?
Thanks,
Don (on Lopez Island)

Right? Well, that depends. I thought that the tractor had replaceable bushings. Just press them out and press in new ones. Are they brass or steel? Baum Hydraulic has both brass and hardened steel split tension bushings. Best price I have found.
