Kubota B7500
My Kubota B6100E gear transmission has bit the dust. Dealer said repair could cost anywhere from $1200 to $2000 if he does the work. I definitely don’t want to put that kind of money into it. On the other hand, it is worthless as a trade-in for a B7500.

My thoughts are to find a transmission for it, get it up and running, then trade it. Any thoughts on where to get "used" Kubota transmissions for this 16hp, 2WD?

Mike,

This Spring, come to Upstate New York... lots of auctions... and for the price of a rebuilt trans. by your dealer... you can pick up an entire running "whole" tractor for that amount of money...or...

Just take that money and use it as a downpayment on that new machine you're having dreams about... and stop dreaming... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Mike,
I agree w/John,also if the transmission needs work what else could be next..$$.
Those type model aren't all that easy to find for parts..tractor for parts.
Between your trade in and Kubota credit plan it may be wise to make the investment.
