Now we're cooking with gas. Or oil, as the case may be. Added a washer to one relief valve, checked max pressure. Added a washer to the other relief valve, checked max pressure. The loader control valve now lets go at the factory spec for the tractor. The tractor relief valve lets go a little higher, less than factory plus 15%, but I don't know exactly where yet, still waiting for some fittings to plug the pressure gauge into the tractor relief valve so I can get a solid reading on it. I had it up to factory plus 15% and removed one washer, so I know it's below that.

200-300 extra psi's makes a difference. Hope I don't start blowing hoses now

I don't think you''ll start blowing hoses..... I don't know exact actual breaking pressure, but probably approaching 2X the stated max pressure, depends, of course somewhat on age and condition of hoses.

No need to worry about the hoses. Burst is usually 3 or 4 times the operating pressure.
