I have heard that it is common for Europeans to drink at lunch. I have seen lots of Mexican citizens have a beer at lunch time and then go back to work.
However, this practice of surveyors drinking on the job in Norway has to stop.Lewis Gordon

thats amazing. 45 years ago when we used to go on vacation to norway most of the roads outside of oslo were not paved. Driving was slow and tedious as the potholes and ruts were formidable. Great what a drop of oil will do for public finances.
