The wife snapped a couple pics of me breaking in the new plow. There's something about freshly turned soil that gets the old blood stirring.

I'm not Devildog, but I passed through Front Royal once./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Try the north end of the Skyline Drive, just south of I-66 straight west from D.C.

Devildog, nice pics! That plow looks to be quite the little sod buster! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Leinbach makes some solid equipment. My 3point rcvr hitch came from them.

I'm looking for a plow to use with my 4100. Haven't seen any around here that look like that one though.
Model #19. Interesting. I'll hafta give 'em a call.

Did the R4's work good pullin the plow?

Bird you hit the nail on the head. Thats pretty good for just passing through once/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Roy, To give you a little better guideline were 103 miles south of West Manheim Pa.

The towns new motto is Gateway to Skyline Drive

I take it you don't have to mow that area now. It is fun plowing and as soon as spring gets here I get to do some of my plowing. I have about 20 acres to turn over and another 10 acres that I did last fall and have to disck up before seeding. The thing I like is when your plowing fields is to watch the ground and to see the mice running after you disrupted their homes. I was playing last year and found a possum behind a dirt pile. He wasn't to happy after that rude awakening.

DFB,
Sorry we posted at the same time, But heres a little insite, I talked to TerryinMD and he has the 14" lienbach he pulls with his 4100 (I hope that is right Terry) So I talked to my dealer since he knows where I live and he recommended the Lienbach #19 which is a 12" plow. Whats hard to see is there are a lot of rocks in the soil I turned. I dont think my tractor would of been able to pull the 14" through this soil. The R-4s worked great/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif The plow was $289.00 and it is built pretty sturdy.

Also here is a pic of my linebach box blade. It made by united implements MFG. Its a 448 HD. Nothing fancy but works great.

Hope this helps, Take care, Jim
