Our sheep had a date

and I had to deliver them there somehow. This is how I prepared my trailer for them. Using tubing welded to the side of the trailer and 1/2" plastic conduit to create the ship of the prarie arch and 8x10' tarp to cover it with.

Clementine curious, as always, but sheep did just fine in their new wagon.

Hmm.... did you hog tie them down to keep them from jumping out the back?

I've been looking for a trailer similar to that and can't seem to ever find one. I hear everyone talk of how they found an old trailer and only paid a fraction. All I come across are the ones that are priced too high.

And yeah, how did you keep the sheep contained?

Texasjohn - the sheep had halters on and were tied to the front of the trailer and there was also bail of hay behind them and in front of them.

Tony - I built the trailer few years ago to match my CJ7 and it paid for itself many, many many times. Square tubing all around, the base is 3x2", railing 2x2" and gates are 1.5x1.5".

All the hardware parts came from TSC, except wheels as from an old jeep in junkyard and tires from wally world.

Got it... I've had sheep that could be haltered... but mostly I'm used to the kind that you have to work hard to catch and throw into the back end of a pickup or trailer.
