We had to shovel snow off of the shed a few weeks back - here is a link to that thread
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/photos/112852-lots-snow.html

smfcpacfp posted about the Avalanche Drift Buster and I bought one.

Below the first pic shows it in use. It is an inside pic through the screen so quality is low. The tool is long handled with a head and a plastic slide. You slide it up the roof under the snow. The weight of the snow causes it to slip down the slide.

The second pic shows my wife unleashing an snow shower on herself.

The tool works better than the kayak paddle and wife in the tractor bucket we used in the firstr thread. ?I would recommend one.

At first I couldn't figure out just how it worked, but went to their website and they have a short video. Interesting. Darn if I didn't already have a roof rake I just might buy one.

Did you find it locally or have to order it?

Wayne,

"Did you find it locally or have to order it?"

I ordered it from the web site. It was during the Christmas holiday but I still got it in a week.

It cost more than a snow rake (which I have never used) but I am pleased with the ease of use.

Thank Phil,

Looks like a nice tool! Have to keep using my roof rake for now. Cost too much to just stop using.
