Hi all.

Went for a spin over the house yesterday with a mate who doesn't mind a few G's and got some more pics of the house.

After the hottest summer on record and the dryest first 5 months for over 40 years, this is what our place looks like.

Compare it to the "Greener" version in my earlier post.

Real nice looking place ya got there. It sure does look dry, I hope that you guys get some rain pretty soon. Are people around there having wells dry up yet, or is the groundwater level pretty stable?

No groundwater here that I am aware of. Maybe it is there but it is very deep.

We are on a town water supply (metered) so water isn't a problem but you pay for it. (Hence the suburbia appearance)

Dam is almost empty. I got 5 months out of it, pumping about 24,000 litres per week out of it.

Just waiting for rain now.................

Yes unfortunately it is still there.

And the bad news - He is building a shed the same size as mine, but 6' from our beoundary. Now that is stupid.

Right outside my house too. - Clown !!!!!!!!!
