Thanks for sharing that. It's always interesting to see other landscapes. Sounds like you are in a nice location for farming, must be plenty of services around and yet not right on top of you. Not sure about the -35 degrees. We get down to -20 once in a while - it's a different kind of cold.
I know what you mean about dogs 'knowing' when they have done something. It's like they know better but just can't resist. The 'A dogs gotta do what a dogs gotta do', thing.
I suppose it takes a pile of paperwork and a ton of patience to get a tractor across the border. It's a lot more complicated than it used to be for sure.
