Default grand-doggie on top of Mt Azure

We closed the camp down this past week, but prior to leaving we climbed a few mountains in the area Arab and Azure mountain. Located in the northern part of the Adirondack mountains.

the day we took the dock out it snowed. Not much, just an inch and a half, but snow none the less.

Both dogs were ready for sleep after coming off the mountain!

Hi Scotty, on the 2d and 3rd picture two steps out and it is about 80 feet straight down. Had us on the panic edge most of the day!

Great pictures. I didn't realize the color would be so good on the trees this late in the year. Now I want to see that part of the country even more!!!!

Is the dark colord dog a wirehair? I haven't seen one in years. My brother had one and it was great for both duck hunting and pheasant hunting. It was both good at retrieving AND pointing!!!

Hi Eddie yes it is a German Wiredhair pointer. He is about 8 months old now and really active. We are working on his hunting skills! One thing is for sure, if you get this breed you want to be ready for really working with the dog. They require a bunch of time just hiking!

Oh and the pictures were taken around October 10.

Leaves are almost all on the ground now and we are just waiting for snow. Hey you are always welcome up this way!
