She obviously meant a lot to you, she's still with you and you continue to miss her.
You are 100% right. It took me a long time to be able to tell the dream story.
She was a dog like no other. She could think & reason almost like a human,
None of these things were taught to her, she did it all on her own.
Great baby sitter. Had a young boy & his mother live with me for a while. The boy liked to play sward fight. Sometimes he lost & fell down. She would go to him & check to see if he was hurt. After a few times she figured out he was playing & just watched. When he tried to go some place she though dangers to him, she would push him back until he would go the other way. He had a little sister than visited now & then, she treated her the same way.
She was loved by man & dog alike. I had a few people convinced she was a vicious killer. But in actually she didn't have a mean bone in her body. She was somewhat intimidating due to her size.
A neighbor hood dog ( Not a stray) use to come by most every day to visit us, quick HI to me then play with her for a while. A neighbor had a 100# pit bull his day was not complete unless he got to visit Kirby.
Never really needed a leash. Would put one on her when we went to town. But just let her drag it around. Even at the air port people wanted to play with her once they knew she was friendly.
She didn't like dopers or Mexicans & let them know it. Tried to give a guy (Doper?) a ride 1 time, she would not let him in the truck. He rode in the bed.
A Mexican irritated her 1 time, she jumped up & knocked him over, then followed him out of sight, making sure he didn't head for our house.
More later
