HELLO JIMMYJ,

I honestly dont know, I think the dog would be fast enough to do what it wants.

The goanna has really sharp/long nails, is slow, and is very timid.

They usually hide on the far side of the tree.

An old bushie once told me if your in the bush and one comes at you drop to the ground as they are probally looking for a tree to escape up and with their bad eyesight they can mistake a person for a tree.

Here is a couple of pics of our dogs. The 2 beagles are mine and my soms they are mother and daughter and the drunken (lol) schnauzer is my wife's and daughter's. But she may have watched me to often. LMAO

He is my buddy Hank, keeping an eye on my daughter's doll baby.

The second is my princess putting his collar on, he has to wear it when he's outside you know.

Here is our motley crew, all rescues. Rosie - 1 year old min pin/rat terrier, Rusty - 2 year old boxer, Ondray - 1 or 2 year old boxer/? mix, Georgie - 12 year old min pin, Sasha - 3 year old golden retreiver or lab/hound mix (we think).

Just had a litter of Elhew English Pointers(Aug.15) four males and three females.All black and white.The mother is liver/white,the male orange/white.
Our dogs are used on our uplands preserve.We are located in upstate NY if any grouse,wood-cock,pheasant hunters are interested.Parents come from well known Elhew breeders.

Great looking litter, mom looks like an Elhew. We raised pointers in the 90's, bred to Bases Loaded, Top Contender, and Rail Dancer. I now have a year old gal out of Elhew Fibber McGee. She is wild and crazy but I think when she grows up a bit will make a decent bird dog.

This is our two year old Catahoula Leopard dog. Her name is Beauty. She's our friend and protector. Gentle with our children yet assertive with strangers. She lives outside and is always on duty. These dogs have been bred for hunting wild boar and bear. this dog would lay down it's life defending our property. Hope to god that never happens. We live out in the country and my wife sleeps soundly knowing this dog is out there at night.

Heres some Pics of my boys. We don't have kids, so heres a bunch of Pics!

First Porter, our 4 year-old Golden Retriever. We were specifically looking for a golden because my wife loves them, they are great with kids and make great duck dogs!

And our newest acquisition, Hunter, a 6 MONTH old Bernese Mountain Dog. We rescued him in late June from a family that couldn't handle him.

and he is CRAZY! but hes a very intelligent, very good, easy dog.

The boys, luckily, became best of friends!
