Empire Farm Days - Photos
Here's some of the 93 photos I took while at Empire Farm Days on Thursday, August 8th. Here's the south entrance. Parking was $5.00, no problem finding a place. Getting out of the parking area took a little longer, but the NY State Police did a good job of keeping the traffic moving.

My wife asked what this was (I told her it's used in wet/boggy areas), then quickly added I could not have one.

Actually they're used for general farming too Mike. Alot of farmers are going to the tracked tractors as they don't compact the ground like a wheel driven tractor does.

Re: Empire Farm Days - Photos
The sales guy had a remote control for this tractor and would start it when a large enough crowd gathered. He'd spin all four tires, then just the rear tires. It had front and rear PTOs, et. al., but I am not sure what purpose the attachments he used to raise the tractor up off the ground are really used for.

Here's the area where they did demonstrations of various tractors and attachments.

For you John deere fans. Interesting that some of these tractors have front fenders. Must be a big help in keeping mud off the tractor when the front wheels start spinning, but I wonder if they will last?

The JD110. It's hard to appreciate the small size of this TLB. It's not as small as a BX22, but it's definitely a compact TLB.
