Kubota B2650HSD w/Frontloader & CC LTX1046 & Craftman T2200 lawn mower.
Wondering just how good this Kuhn mower would do on edges of banks,fields,ditches etc..

Disk mowers are essentially the next generation of sickle-bar mowers. They can digest about the same types of materials. They are capable of going faster though. However, due to the weight of the gears, they tend to be a bit heavier.

Question will they tilt down from the horizontal?

I think disc mowers are made for mowing hay.

They do go a lot faster and better than sicle bars even where old tires are concerned (see my post on things run over with a mower). However with the blades turning at high speeds they can throw rocks and debris even harder than RFM's and brush hogs, so I would not advise using one in rough terrain even with the shielding in place.
