I figured I'd share some pics of the little goldfish/koi pond and deck that I did a few months ago.

Here's what I started with. This is day one. Just got rid of the old RR ties and went shopping to buy all needed materials.

After day 3 I was mostly done, just a little gardening and decorating.

The last 3 show the little 90 gallon pond that I put in a few years ago. But I added a little stream that flows into the larger pond (which is ~ 3000gal). It flows under part of the deck.

Last two. These I just took today. I have stained the deck and done a little more decorating. It's been hot and dry for about a week straight so the water is down about 4" though.

Edit: I forgot to add that I added the little tree ring with the same retaining wall brick. I justed wanted to note that 60 of them brick in the trunk of a saturn SL isn't the best thing to do.

Thanks to all for the kind words.

But I do have one question for those who may read this.

If you notice I have a few of them solar lights. I bought a 2 pack of spotlights @ menards about 2 months ago to shine on the two fountains at night. They make it look awesome but they quit working. Bulbs are good, solar panel is good, and batteries are good. If I take the battery out and then put sunlight, the lights work indicating both the solar panel and bulbs are good. I have swapped batteries with ones that work, and they still dont come on. Something in the photocell or circuit board?

These things were only like $10 so what do you expect.

The questions is has anyone found a decient solar spotlight for a decient price? I really dont want to hassel with low voltage stuff. I really liked the way these looked when they worked.
