I have a 1978 Buick Century Special that has to be the ugliest car that General Motors ever built. Do you have one that will top it? Ken Sweet

Ken, surely you have forgotten the Pontiac Aztek (1st picture below).:p:p:p It is surely the ugliest car GM ever built.

...and the AMC Pacer is about the ugliest American car I ever saw on the road.

1978 Buick Century Special

There was one model like that that had a fake Continental look on the back. It had to be uglier.:D

When I saw the thread title, I thought Aztek.
Jinman, there were a few AMCs I liked, but arguably all AMCs were ugly.

I thought that 1978 Buick Century Special was just "plain" instead of ugly. For ugly, I agree with jinman that the Pontiac Aztek would be the winner, and for trucks, the Chevrolet Avalanche is the hands down winnter.:)

...but arguably all AMCs were ugly...

Even though some of the models were not the best looking automobiles...one exception I think is the AMC Eagle...the single tone 4x4 wagons are a rather handsome vehicle...and very sturdy I might add...the standard curb weight on the Eagle was close to 4k pounds...

I have pulled more 4x4 pick up trucks out of the mud and precarious situations with my Eagle than I can remember...(even one F250)

This could be a realllllllly long thread.

This one rises to top of my list: 83 Seville, looks like it was rear ended, from the factory.

I can't Imagine what they were thinking. :confused3:
