Old iron
My Dad gave me his father in law's old Dearborn plow and disc.
I didn't have room on my trailer for the cultivator or I would have it too.
They had been setting in the same spot for a long time! The disc is going back to work, the plow is likely going to be an ornament by my gate. I had never seen a plow like this one before and I hope to find out how old they are.Last edited by Ridgewalker; 12-25-2011 at 10:38 AM.

I don't think that disc was going anywhere! Pretty effective theft deterrent. Good looking implements. Looks like the perfect size for food plots and the like.

Re: Old iron
Cool looking stuff. I've never seen a plow like that either. I see you got free firewood with the load!
God Bless our brave men, bring them home, safe again.

Re: Old iron
Well as late as 1951 they were still offering the slat plow blade, you might get a kick out of the old catalog:

Re: Old iron
That 2 bottom breaker will bring about 350 to 400 here for a gardener. THe slats were for mucky ground. My plow on my Cub is a slat plow. I cringe every time I see a load of plows takend to the scrappers they make a whopping 40 dollars on them. Im glad your saving it
