What kinda trucks do you use to around your property towing your tractor and such. Here is a pic of my new toy.

Nice trucks, both of you. Right now I've got the older version of yours Melville, a 97 F250HD 4X4 crew cab. My dream truck is a combination of yours and F350Lawmans... F350 Super Duty 4X4 crew cab dually SHORT bed. Only seen a couple but they sure look nice. Would pull our camper well too /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Very nice choice. I am pulling with a 96 F250 Powerstroke 4X4. One of these days I will have one of the new ones but mine is just now getting broke in with 155K miles. The only problem I have had was the water pump started leaking about 20K miles ago. The Stroke pumps are pricey! They are huge too. Have you ever looked at that thing?

Not a good shot at my 2003 Silverado but you can also see my tractor, new garage and start of my implement shed.

Well, we use two trucks. The first that we use the most is the 2003 F-250 with 5.4 (we live in a flat area and the 5.4 handles 5 ton with ease)

The second is the 1998 F-150. It has the 4.6 and has the heavy duty suspension package. It can handle 5 ton but not with ease. Now it will haul either the 1920 or the dump trailer depending on what we are doing. You can see the TN in this pic

Thanks

I really liked the older "squared" body style. Took awhile for the 99+ to grow on me. The shortbed duallys are rare. You see that distinctive fuel door right there on the wheel well. Most people get the duallys for gooseneck/fifthwheels or to put a lot of junk in the bed so they don't go for the short bed. The SBs do look sporty with the right package and rims.

All of them are great trucks.
