Enjoyed the pics! You have a slice of heaven there! :). How do you like your 362 saw? I've been thinking of buying one.

Thanks for the compliment on the property! We think it's a little piece of heaven as well. I love the 362. I was on the fence as to whether I wanted that or the 361 as they were phasing in the 362 when I bought, but the dealer offered me an excellent deal, and told me if I wasn't happy, he'd give me full purchase price back for it on a 361. I've never looked back, the saw's a little powerhouse, and absolutely sips fuel. I added the outer dogs and ceramic chain catcher to it, just for a little peace of mind as well. I came from husqvarna saws and had nothing but bad luck...I'd say go for it if the price is right!

Thank you. I think I'm going to go with the 362. I haven't heard anything bad about it. Sounds like a great saw.

One more question for you if you don't mind. What kind of goats do you have and is that a standard 4 foot chain link fence? The reason I ask is my wife and I will be getting a few goats just as pets. I've heard that Pigmy goats are the way to go but we're still a little unsure. I think I'll also do a chain link fence but I know they can jump so I'm unsure about a good height.

The goat in the picture is no longer with us, she was part alpine. The remaining goat I have is pure alpine, and he's a little smaller. The fence is 5.5 foot and yes it is just standard chain link. That'll give you a little perspective on how big a goat she was...lol I like the chain link both because it keeps the goats in and also keeps the coydogs and other undesirables out. Goats are escape artists, and all I can say is put two latches on your gates, one at standard waist-high, the other up top...To them, the grass is always greener on the other side. I have no experience with the pygmy's but for the price of hay, I could definitely get on board with them..

Just kidding, it really is a beautiful place. I don't think I would want to deal with the snow however. Never been a snow person; I guess because the only time I've really had any dealings with it was when I was away from home.

Great fishing all over up here...worth keeping the pole and tackle box in the truck so you can just pull over on the side of the road and fish...Whereabouts are you?

The snow is one of the major reasons I can justify my tractor obsession:D It's nice for a while, but we're glad to see spring come when it does. The beautiful summers make the winters well worth it, besides, if not for old man winter, I'd have no time in front of the woodstove with the little lady and the dogs...lol
