This was on my pond when I got home this pm. There was a goose right with them but it left when I returned with the camera.

Want some geese? Canadian vagabonds, came to Ark. liked it and decided to stay year round. We had 4 pairs that nested on our pond the first year we bought it about 4 years ago. Now there is over 30 of them that stay year round and migrate between our pond, the one across the road and a larger one about a half mile east. Man are they noisy in the spring time. They do eat a lot of moss and weeds from the ponds but they drop the remains everywhere along the pond bank. They were coming into the driveway and crapping on my parking slab, but since we got our German Shepherd, he keeps them confined to a close proximity to the water as he loves to give chase to them, my chickens and sister in laws goats. Yesterday he caught one of the chickens and decided to take it to the pond, but luckily my wife saw him and made him let it go. Chicken wasn't hurt and made her escape.
