Arizona Mountains...
Was up to Kitt Peak on Monday... figured I would post a few photos. It felt like NY up there... minus the sun (snow, cold). Quite breathtaking views, even though it was quite hazy. Today it is really clear, so I might take some photos of the Catalina moutains from the ground, and maybe some sunset photos...
Anyway, here are some from Monday:

The drive is about 65 miles from Tucson... aside from the views, the reason to go is to see the Kitt Peak National Observatory...

Gorgeous photos, Muhammad!
And here I thought you may have forgotten your camera.
I especially like that shot of the bird. It's practically a postcard by itself.
As for the mountain pictures, I just gotta ask this board -- how many of you looked at those pictures and thought, "Give me time and I could level them puppies!".

Re: Arizona Mountains...
A couple years ago I saw an ad that Kubota ran in a magazine (I think I saved it, would have to dig to find it ) that had some hills in the background and a B2400 and L4310 shown on the bottom that read, "The Earth is Not Flat. You Can Change That."
Oh yeah, the bird flew away not more than 1/10 of a second after I shot the photo... doesn't it always happen that way?

Those are great shots. Looking forward to more. And, Harv, I admire your enthusiasm, but it reminds me of the line from Jaws when they first sighted the monster...<font color=orange>"We need a bigger 'Bota"</font color=orange>

Actually, Muhammad, when I'm taking pictures, they fly away 1/10 of a second before I take the picture.
Considering the shutter delay on your camera, you're lucky you got that one.

I've been following the Pole Barn thread looking for something different. Those are rather impressive.

Re: Arizona Mountains...
Those are amazing,Muhammad!
Harv, while looking at those pictures my mind went blank and I sat here humbled... gotta tell you, the thought of tackling those mountains just never came close to me . Those pictures simply remind me that we're all just a little piece of a very big place.
