Wish we could have directed some of this rain your way, offically as of this morning for June, July and August we are at just under 16" of rain. That is the state wide average number posted on our one and only commerical TV station, now certain areas have had more rain than that.

The way it came down here on Sunday afternoon I thought we had over 16" then! Took our our road for about 1000 feet and had to bring in six dump truck loads of gravel to rebuild the road bed. I am getting sick of cleaning up down trees and branches.

One good thing is it is summer and not winter as that would be one heck of a snow load!

So you've gotten nearly 16" in the 2 months, while I've gotten about 2.18" in the same time. We got some measurable amount on 10 different days, but the biggest rain was .55" on July 30.

Dang glad it's rain not snow...yikes.

4 1/2 months until the end of the year,and we're 1.20" ahead of rain fall for the year...hmmm...don't think anyone will be complaning about dry well this year.

Bird, I'd even swap with you. Since 13 June, we have had only 1.5 inches. It is so dry here that the jackrabbits kick up a dust cloud when they walk.
