Default 30 hours of mowing... at least 6 left...

OK, just what the heck did I get myself into. Last year I mowed 2 sections... And then I got into brushing... Taking the grapple, pulling out the blackberries. It was fun, it took a long time, never equated it to mowing time.

Now, I have nearly 30 hours of mowing in. I got at least 6 more before I am done. It is all those darn trees that I have to manuever my 90" mower around...

I now envy those with 2 acres.

When you say 2 sections...you are talking about 320 acres...correct?

One section = 160 acres...

Man, I have not heard anyone use Sections this way in a while but you are correct, and I am incorrect. No, I meant I break my property up into sections to mow. Nothing more than that. No relevance to area. I have 40 acres, 15 of which I maintain at the moment.

A section is 640 acres, i.e., one square mile.

The system is used in the west, relates to townships and ranges.

Ooops...You are correct...I was thinking 1/4 sections...

Between the brain and the fingers, I dropped the /4...

I 've still got a couple of 1/4 sections in N.D. of my grandfather original land...
