I was going to title this Power Trac closing but that would have filled too many shorts.
They are closing from the 28th until the 7th... Enjoy!

My in-laws both worked in factories, and besides getting 4-5 weeks of vacation each year, plus a half a dozen paid P.A. days (personal absence), they also got a two week shut down during the summer for factory maintenance.
Now me, I work in a factory. But we make newspapers and are open 24/7/365. I do get 4 weeks vacation because I've been here so long, but none of this summer break, holiday break stuff. ![]() |

Since Power Trac originally manufactured coal mining equipment, this time of year is traditionally the time that the coal mines close for vacations, and I'm guessing they just choose to continue to follow that tradition.
