Default Power Trac is better than this John Deer

We found a tractor on Route 14 in Wisconsin just west of Spring Green. I think my power trac is a much better machine.

I am not sure, but that thing seems like a fire hazard. He better have a good fire extinguisher onboard.

That thing was expensive to put together. The natural bales on the bottom cost $30 each. The green bales were $476.23 apiece

hmm, I am wondering if it is solid, or he just built it out of 2x4 and put panels with astroturf or hay glued to them.

It sure looks like real hay and nothing underneath (except those wheels look very perfect). You can see the string pulling in the hay.

That said, probably the farmer made this, but people do spend their money on strange things (PT's?) for no reason other than.....

I get it... That's funny. Would be much less expensive if painted in Ford blue, but not by much!

This buy had a lot of other stuff there. It is a store. he has a big bug, an alien space ship, a halloween trail, goats, etc. The tractor is minor compared to the rest. It looks like years of putting this stuff together.

Jim Bird had some great fun with hay bales at his place in Forkland AL a while back.

Here's a link to some pics that have shown up on Flickr.com:

If PT would make a mini hay baler we could all entertain the neighbors :-)

Fun.
