When Pabjobe was talking about working on his power track I remembered that they had told me that the engine was mounted on a plate that was mounted in the floor of the pt. I assumed that they had mounted it with bolts but I was in the engine compartment and I noticed that the plate was actually welded. Unless there is another plate there that is not as visible as the one that I saw then I was wrong, and working on it just got a little harder but not much harder, I hope. When they told me about the plate they said that you could use it to hook to to pull to keep from bending the back panel of the tub, but I would never hook to that. If I saw that I was going to have to be pulling something heavy enough to bend the back panel I would come up with a different means of hooking to the back of the machine, and I have been thinking about doing that anyway when I find enough scrap material to do it. Sorry for any problems that my recollection may have caused in your repair.
