Ignition, Key Switch Question
The Key switch on my PT-425 Moves.
It will spin when I try to start it or turn it off.
It doesn't move much, maybe 10 or 15 degrees of a 360 degree circle.
I took the plate off last night and tried to tighten it. It was already tight, to the point that there are no more threads for the nut to tighten into.
Do I need to add a spacer of some sort to allow the nut that holds it tight to have more threads to use?
has anyone else had this problem?
If so, how did you fix it?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Re: Ignition, Key Switch Question
Sounds like there might be a missing washer that should go between the nut and the panel. Most switches that are designed to panel mount come with one, often in the form of a star washer.
I don't recall anyone else posting about this problem.

Re: Ignition, Key Switch Question
Haven't had the problem on the PT but i have seen this before on these switches. Add the spacer or just back it off and slide something under it and tighten it back.
