I am surprised at you almost calling the original poster a liar after him telling what happen.

What else would raise the PT on it's side.

You say no and you were not even there.

Maybe we can get him to do it again and take a video.

So you think torque can not tilt this little machine on it's side? Weight about 1400 lbs.

Auger is driven by a hyd motor.

This is a Power Trac. It is driven by a hydraulic motor and protected by a relief valve. There may be a sheer bolt, I am not sure.

Didn't know what he was using as he (the OP) didn't mention his tractor or the hydraulic augur. Just guessed it was a CUT with a 3pt. augur.

Yes, it was not real clear. This is on the Power Trac forum. I guess we should all mention what machine we are referring to.
