Dear All,
I do not know a whole lot about tillers and can use all the tips I can get.
I have 24.5 PTO horsepower and really do not need more then a 48-52” width (hot peppers). I have a hill but can always till going down hill. I will probably not use this more then 50 hours per year (at most) and so I do not need real heavy duty. Obviously I do not want it to break in the middle of a job either.
Relating to the things I have found out about these devices, some have chain drive, belt drive and gear drive. Prices range from about $1000 to $2500 and probably more. Some come from Italy and others come from Mississippi. This is about all I know about tillers!
If anyone could tell me what the differences are and any product recommendations I would appreciate it. I apologize for asking such an open-ended question.
Thank you!
