Leaking PTO on New Holland TN70

I have a New Holland TN70 that was leaking pretty bad around the seal on the pto. I have replaced that seal and the leaking has slowed down, but yet it still leaks a little around the seal. Does anyone know what else i could do to fix this problem?

Was there a groove worn around the pto shaft (from the seal rubbing on it)? Though I don't have any experience with pto shafts, they make sleeves for front main seals on crankshafts for that issue. Other solutions include various epoxies for this. Search Locktite and others for this kind of problem (maybe msc-direct as well).

Is there a problem with end play or side-to-side (lateral?) play? That may imply that the bearings for the shaft are worn and the shaft is wearing the seal out (ultimately -- for now a higher than normal leakage rate is all you might see). Is it possible the shaft is bent?
