I need to find some parts which I can afford to overhaul my 2 Cyl Diesel

Here are the parts I need and I found one source but look at the prices they want:

S110996030 PAN GASKET (1) $23
111146023 HEAD GASKET (1) $95
314990012 MUFFLER GASKET (1) $8
115106040 RING SET (2 sets) $95 each
198516091 ROD BEARINGS (2 sets) $40 each
S120406010 VALVE GUIDE SEAL (4 ea) $23 each

And New Holland wants 105.00 for the head gasket. Highway robbery.

Does anyone know of other sources or suppliers that might help. Thanks Al

Who would want to "help" when you trash others for their pricing with no knowledge of their costs? If you don't like those prices why don't you start a business to supply them? We get calls like this routinely, and frankly it gets old. We spend time finding hard-to-find parts, generally from overseas, only to have the customer complain about the price and then not buy. The result is that we don't even look for odd parts for people anymore.

So.....since you're convinced that the pricing of a NH dealer and some other dealer is "Highway robbery", have at it...find the parts yourself and then offer them to others at lower prices than were quoted to you while making a nice living for yourself. You have no idea what either one of them has to pay for those parts.

Much cheaper than Mitsubishi and Hinomoto. I'd say they're a bargin.

I agree with the others.. I was just involved helping a guy try to find parts for a mitsubishi.. his parts were much higher. and IMHO. still a bargain.. since without them. the tractor is USELESS.

In reality though.. them prices don't look too bad compaired to some of the antique and classic tractor parts i buy.... I've paid 700$ for a dual hyd valve set for remote hyds on my old fords before... that's 700$ to get remote hyds on a tractor that cost 3500$.. to use a laoder that cost me 400$.. between the laoder and the valve.. I'm over 1/3 cost of the darn tractor!. and it's better than me moving round bales by hand in the pasture!

Those are great prices. Especially since that tractor is 30+ years old. Most parts for compacts from that era are obsolete...
