Loader Front End Loader Rubber Edge Strip?

Does anyone know if a non-metallic edge strip is available for the FEL? I would like to be able to clear snow from our colored concrete pad without marking it. I have a BX22.

Not sure this would work on a FEL lip, but on snow plows a piece of conveyor belt from a rock quarry or a rubber mat for horse/cow stalls works well.

My concern on a FEL is how would you attach it so that it would not get torn off.

I used a strip from a horse stall mat and installed it on my backblade. I sandwiched it between the blade and cutting edge, exposing about 3" of rubber...works great! I thought about doing something similar to the FEL but I think it would limit what I can use the FEL for. You could probably come up with a light-duty arrangement using some good clamps and a support bar for the rubber.

While this required some work (welding) and a few bucks (~$100 in materials) - works great!

Rubber is plow rubber - going fourth year without issues

Best of both worlds - "plows" and use of bucket...

Fall Line makes polyurethane snowplow cutting edges and they also have a bucket edge. I have a concrete paver brick driveway and used a section of their polyurethane cutting edge to make custom protective caps for my snowblower skid shoes. After three years of sliding over paver bricks, concrete, and asphalt, there is very little wear. The folks at Fall Line were very helpful when I called and there were no problems with the billing or delivery.

looks like there is going to be a lot of drilling involved no matter what method you choose, so maybe just come up with a easy replaceable cutting edge or maybe purchase the bx bucket expander and drill that instead of your loader bucket

For "me" the Horse Stall Mat has worked very well.

Thanks for the great ideas and information. The commercial strip might not be too difficult to install although I can do the welding for c-and-a's slick arrangement.
