massey ferguson 135
I have a massey ferguson 135 ser #9A147353 with a 3 cyl gas perkins and 12.4-24 tires. I am trying to determine if it is a Vineyard or Orchard Model.?? What is a narrow model ??I have enclosed photos. What are the features that determines which model it is . I need this info to purchase a front weight frame.. If anyone knows of the part # for this and where to get one it would be a real help. I can send additional photos . Thank you

Resurrecting an old thread for anyone who does a search in the future. I have a 1974 MF 135 just like the photos posted in this thread, and have learned that they are the "MF 135 Vineyard", with 10-24 rear rims, and 12.4-24 rear tires, and 5-15 front tires. Weight 2920lbs gas, 3295lbs diesel (approx.) 40" to 48" rear tread, 41-3/4" to 53-3/4" front tread, 9-1/2" ground clearance. The Vineyard (in the US) came with gas or diesel engines as options (Perkins by the early-mid 1970s), 8 speed trans (at least for my 1972, maybe 6 speed in earlier years?), Independent PTO, differential lock, power steering, "foam-float" seat, horizontal exhaust, rounded dish fenders (with or without lights), & universal swinging drawbar was an optional extra.

Note that the rear axle is actually narrower than standard (the "trumpets" are shorter), and I believe the fenders are different as well. The 24 inch rear wheel dishes were offered on other machines as options, but usually with 12 inch rims (I think), wearing larger, 14.9-24 tires.
