Kioti LK2554
I couldn't find this having been covered in Search but am I the only one who can't remove the +/- cables on this model? I can't imagine why Kioti couldn't have spared another four or five inches of cabling so a guy could pull the battery forward and have good access to the posts. Did I miss something?

I must have missed it also. The only way I have found to get good access is to take the hood off. There are two nuts on each side.

Problem solved. But not by a Kioti dealer. I called a few and it took our local horse trailer mechanic to figure this out. Pull off the side grills, follow the + cable on the left side and the - cable on the right, disconnect with a wrench, pull the battery out the front and easily remove them from the posts. reinstall the cables on the new battery, then slide it on the tray and reconnect the back end of both cables. Should save a lot of 3rd Commandment violations! Oh, yeah. My manual tells me to check the battery fluids frequently. What idiot wrote that?
