My father in Law is working on a Allis Chalmers B and cant get the front pulley off
is it just a nut and then a puller? or is there more to it?

look behind pulley itself, you will see a large setscrew with a locking nut on it. Loosen nut, then remove bolt, pulley will now pull off with a bit of effort. when installing it back on, be sure point of bolt is going down into the hole machined in the crank

hope it comes off easier than the one on my farmall C did.. it BROKE! and then I had to split the hub!!

If those manufacturers had known about the QD split bushing and sheave system we wouldn't be having these problems. Oh, maybe they hadn't been invented when those old tractors were made.

They may still be a replacement for the original even though they have a key way and your shaft may not have a key seat. If installed according to the directions the bushing grips the shaft so tight the key isn't really needed.

Update... he had to ruin the pulley to get it off it was badly rusted
where can I find a new pulley and an engine rebuild kit?
