Well, I don't know Australian slang, so I have no idea what
"Just a dried fruit blockie from Merbein " means...but I think "blockie" should have been blokie

Nope Roy "Blockie" is correct.....slang for the owner of a block of land.
From memory originated when the government allocated Blocks of land to returning soldiers from the war...(WW1)........they became known as "Blockies"
The dried fruit is self explanatory :D

What dried fruit do you do...........stone fruit...apples/pears..........or grapes and has the water restrictions of the last few years caused you problems or have you got a good allocation from the Murray?
