I thought I would share my "new" plow, it originally started life as a two row but I converted it to a single. It had been sitting under a tree for at least 40 years it had a 12 inch oak tree growing right in the center of it. Everything is worn but it still works to turn over my garden and plow in a few ditches. It's a Ferguson 12 AO 40, the tags hard to read but I believe that's what it says.

In case you were wondering, that slatted moldboard is for when you are in heavy soil like clay or similar. Wet soil gets sticky too. What it does is reduce the amount of metal that the sticky soil can stick to and let it slide easier and turn over.
Amazing what tidbits of knowledge you can come up with on the internet...:thumbsup:

Just love the look of that plow. I'd call it the skeleton. Great for a death metal plow band. ****... I've been playing in the dirt too long.
