Okay, I finally got a chance to get the new grapple hooked up. I ended up having to weld a couple shims to the quick attach. I had sufficent egagement of the pins, but the holes were a bit too deep, and allowed for about a quarter inch of play. Got that welded up, got the hoses ran, and finally got to play around with it! Here are a few photos!

It takes a little getting used to. Man, that thing sticks way out front. I spent the whole after noon playing with it!

From the pictures, it was just what you needed. Sure will make cleanup much easier.

Yes, I managed to rip out a pretty big pile of brush, in a fairly short time.

Rwork, what brand is that grapple, looks great !

I got it from palletforks.com. Impressed with the build of the grapple, but I did have the fit issue. Easy fix. I just welded a couple plates across the back of the pin slots to take up the slack.

No Rich, it's only a 48". It's just the right size. I ordered mine on a tuesday, and it was delivered on wednesday! Memphis to MS coast.

I went to the site but didn't see the 48", it's what I'm in the market for, if you don't mind what was the round figure cost ? You like the 48" vs the 60" ? Was looking at 60" but was reading another thread where a llot of posters were touting the merits of 48" over larger...man I like the way that looks on your machine...congrats and enjoy !

Thanks

Rich
