Tractor
Kubota B7800
Hello all.. newbie with several hours already spent reading the sage advice here..

I'm looking for my first tractor to help out on about 5 north Arkansas acres of mostly woods with a lovely wife who really likes to plant things..

I located a 24 hour, 2010 Kubota B3300SU with FEL (LA504), B4672A BH, Box Blade (don't know model) and loaded R4's. Owner says it has rear hydraulics. They are asking 20,000.

I've talked to the owner a couple times but haven't made the hour drive to go see it yet. Owner used it to put in some sidewalks and it's mostly sat since then. From the pics on CL it looks clean with little/no noticeable wear on the FEL or BH..

At first i thought 20,000 was a good deal, but the more I've been reading here and elsewhere I think the price is somewhat high. Judging from TBN posts from 2010 the B3300SU with FEL should have been 15-16. The B4672A should have been 4-6. The rear hydraulics, box blade, loaded tires would have added another 1-2. The owner mentioned they got it as a package deal but i don't know what they paid.

SO.. what's the considered opinion.. is 20K too High, too Low or Just right?

FWIW I've also been looking hard at new tractors. NH Boomer 30, Kioti CK27 or CK35, Mahindra 3016 or 3535, MF 1532 or 1635. These all seem to fall in the 20K range without a BH.

New price of the Kubota 3300SU was 18,580: TractorData.com Kubota B3300SU tractor information The price you are quoting with 24 hours on the clock sounds reasonable to me.

The bad part is that the warranty has expired.........Talk to Kubota dealer about an extended warranty.

Judging by the links that 94BULLITT posted, the 3300SU that you are looking at, with the Backhoe and Boxblade is a pretty good deal with 24 hours on the clock.

A B3300 with loader and back hoe retails for 26,403, if you got 15% off it would be $22,442, there is a $1000 cash reabte so $2,1442 plus tax but it will be new with a warranty but no box blade.

I just bought a 2011 B3300SU with FEL, loaded R4's, BH77 backhoe, 48 inch pallet forks, a drawbar & they welded 2 chain hooks on the bucket for me too. It only had 19.6 hours on it, it's still under warranty & Marshall Machinery in PA delivered it to me for $22,500. I'm a happy camper!

Thanks a lot for all the replys.. After a lot more research and general consideration I've decided to pass on the deal. One of the main points was concluding a backhoe isn't a required item.

As luck would have it a 258 hour 2007 B7800 w/ La402, bushhog, finish mower, rock rake, box blade showed up in town. I'll be looking at it tomorrow.
