I've got about an acre cleared off in the woods that I'm going to use as
a food plot. It was cleared off 5 or six years ago and 5 or six years before
that it was a field so there are no large stumps. Biggest is maybe 4 inches
in dia.. I have a Kubota L3800 and a LandPride DH 1572 Disc to work up
the ground.
With that info, do you think this disc will be able to cut thru the roots/stumps
and do the job?
Thanks,
Dano

Dont tear up your disc. If you have a box blade lower the scarifers as far as they will go, raise the top link as far as it will go. This will allow the scarifers maximum depth. Dig up the visable stumps with this. After Digging up the stumps I would make a couple of slow passes with this setup to be sure all the stumps were gone.

Got a 6 ft Box Scrapper and that sounds like a good idea..
After I get cleaned up with the box scrapper then I can
take the disc to it.
Thanks,
