Kubota BX2200
I just recently purchased a bx2200. The lady didn't know the year (how do I find it?) but it had 300 hours on. I bought it with a soft side Curtis cab, 50" snow blower, LA211 FEL and a rear drag blade. Did not come with any manuals..... Was hoping to purchase a bigger tractor but the price was hard to pass up.

I have been looking it over to prepare to mount the snow blower. It appears the hydraulic controls are mounted to the FEL bracket. So I have a couple questions. Is there a way to remove the FEL without having to remove the pivot pins that have the grease zerks? If not, is there an after market mount or anything? All the information out there the just says to remove the pins and roll the bucket until the loader comes off. I've attached some pics of the loader arm where the controls are. It seems really lame to have to remove those pins.

Thanks for the help. Any other suggestions to make mine and the little bx's lifes easier is much appreciated!!

Mine is a tad newer than yours, BX2230, but still the LA211. I believe you are looking at the wrong pins!

There is a pin lower down. It has a little L-handle on it. If you just start to lift the front wheels off the ground, these pins will be loose. Pull the L out, lower the wheels, curl your bucket, and you'll be amazed. Mine is actually a T-handle almost like a vice. The handle slides down into a ring to make sure the pin never comes out unless I want it to. Yours is shown in the 4th picture, upper right quadrant.

BTW, if you do this on uneven ground, getting it back on becomes much more difficult. I only do mine on concrete anymore.

I see the duplicate thread in the Kubota section. I didn't know there were 2 different LA211's. The control detaching with the bucket would make this more difficult and I wasn't aware of the cab issue at all. Good luck!
