My MT210D seems to be overcharging the battery. I replaced the voltage regulator but the problem is still there. It charges at about 16.4 volts and when I shut off the tractor the battery is hissing. Has anyone had this problem before or know what else might be causing it.

Have you had the alternator checked? If it has a problem it may be sending incorrect info to the regulator. Have you had the battery checked? It may have a short. Is the regulator the correct replacement? Is it wired correctly? Is the new regulator good? It sounds as if the alternator output is not being regulated. Have you checked and cleaned your ground connections at the chassis? If you would like to discuss this call 1-800-609-5110. Bill - satohparts.com

Bill,

Thanx for the info I will check these out and if I don't fix the problem I will give you a call. I appreciate the information. Also if you deal in used parts I'm looking for a front pinion shaft for the same tractor.

Thank You

Shawn
