I put Wally on a leash to take him into the back yard. When we got out back he suddenly pounced ( nearly ripping my arm out of its socket). He had a mouse in his teeth. I couldn't believe it. Must be a little rat terrier on his father's side.

I was stunned again today. Coming back into the house with Wally, he pounced again. He had a garter snake in his mouth! I think it shocked even him. He dropped it and I persuaded it to find safer cover. It's a good thing I live in the Northeast where we don't really have a poisonous snake problem.

Ron, I got home yesterday and let the dogs out, normally they are back in a matter on minutes. Yesterday I needed to go look for them, they were around the corner of the garage staring at the ground. I walk up to them and they have a mole cornered, evidently they had stepped on him and he was making noises. 125# Newfie and a 75# Lab, I guess that means I have a 200 pound mole catcher.
