Went to pick up some fluids for my X485 and dealer has a 04 4110 w/ quick-attatch loader, drive over mmm, turfs, independant lift valve, and 44 hours. He is checking what it would cost to extend the warrranty and calling me back today. The thing looks perfect. He is asking $14,380.00 plus tax. He will give me $6,500.00 for my X485. It is more tractor than I need but it sure would be nice. Is this a fair number- if you wouldn't mind what have some of you paid for this machine? Thanks for any and all advice-

The MMM alone is over $2500. I think it is a great price if it is hydrostatic. A big "pumped full of steroids" riding mower (with the FEL removed). That's what I'd refer to mine if I had a MMM. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

If you don't already have a loader and 3 point on your X485; you'd eat up a ton of that trade difference adding them, and still not have the capability of the 4110. Sounds like a good deal!

Yes it is a Hydro. Is this machine to heavy to run over my septic field? I am guessing not but I am just trying to look at this from every angle- Thanks

I think you would be fine. The 4110 is some heavier than your 485, but it would go well over your septic area. My mom and dad have a septic tank and line also in the remote accesses of their back yard. I have run both a 3720 and a 595 over the same area, and could not tell any difference. Thus, the 4110 would be fine. Also, that seems like a good price on a really nice little machine, I would go for it.

OK the dealer called me back and said they / and or Deere could not offer a extended warranty? (at any cost) When I asked him why he would not give me staight answer- It only has 44 hours on it and the regular warranty expires in June of this year- am I being paranoid or is that feeling in my gut correct that something dose not seen right?????
