Hi guys, I was at my dealer today looking around and I think I am pretty much sold on a new TC30. Havn't gotten a final price from him yet but it is around 19500 with loader an R4's(but I might want turfs?) and HST. Anyway he also mentioned that next week he will be getting a 1999 or 2000 1925 on trade in. Comes with loader turfs(i think), HST, and a soft side cab. Not sure on the hours but he said it is in exc. shape, also not sure on the price but it is around 15000-16000. So my question to you guys is what are the Pros and cons of each machine, and which one would you pick?

thanks, Barret Campbell.

No big deal but I do not believe the 1925 was made in 2000. (been wrong before)

Not sure that it is really a direct comparison in some ways though.

The only "issue" I would say to be aware of with the 1925 (that is what I have by the way) is that it is kind of an odd stepchild as they were changing over lines and some aftermarket stuff does not mention it. Usually though the TC 33 stuff works.

I would also suggest that you search on here and change the Hydraulic cooler lines before even running it if you go that way. Or have the dealer throw that in on the deal.

Only you can decide how much "New" is worth.

If you have the time, I would wait and set the two of them side by side and spend a couple hours thinking it through.

Good luck.

I thought the 1925 was more the size of a TC35? as such it will be 1,000# heavier than the TC30. Could be an advantage or disadvantage depending on your uses...

The 16XX and 17XX are similar to TC30, TC31DA TC34DA.

yes those are Canadian dollar figures. I will more than likely go with th TC30 since it is 7 years newer with warrenty and its hard to beat 0% financing for 5 years unless the 1925 comes in at alot lower than I think it will. thanks guys.

Barret Campbell.
