It is there, several times. When an ad is approved, it goes in in the order that it was submitted, so if it is approved 3 days after it was submitted, it appears 3 days down in the ads.

    ---------PRIVATE PARTY ADS FORUM RULES---------

    1. This forum is for posting items for sale by private parties. If you are in the business of selling tractors, parts, equipment, etc, a dealer or manufacturer, you may not post in this forum. Please e-mail advertising@tractorbynet.com for details on advertising for dealers and manufacturers.

    2. Buy & Sell at your own risk! See safe selling guidelines are provided below as a starting point for protecting yourself. $0

    2. Visit the private party ads forum.

    3. Click the post new thread button.

    4. Fill out a title, information, attach photos, etc.

    5. Click the submit new thread button.

    How do I attach photos?
Click on the "manage attachments" button when posting a thread. This will prompt you for files to attach.

    ---------SAFE SELLING GUIDELINES---------

As you start to get contacted by potential buyers, please be careful of online scam attempts. For many years, online classified websites have been the target of scammers who attempt to defraud sellers of high-ticket items, including tractors, with various illegal tactics.

    Here are some general guidelines:

    * If something "just doesn't seem right" it probably isn't.

    * Deal locally with folks you can meet in person.

    * Never accept or wire funds via western union, moneygram or any other wire service - anyone who asks you to do so is a scammer.

    * Fake cashier checks & money orders are common, and banks will cash them and then hold you responsible when the fake is discovered weeks later.

    * TractorByNet.com is not involved in any transaction, and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification."

    * Never give out financial information (bank account number, social security number, ebay/paypal info, etc.)

    * Avoid deals involving shipping or escrow services and know that only a scammer will "guarantee" your transaction.

    * Do not ship items to a buyer until you are 100% positive that the funds for the transaction have been secured through a trusted method.

This is by no means a complete list and scammers are always coming up with new tactics to try.

    Thank you!!!

You cannot delete it, but you could report the post to a moderator and request that they do. I just post in the tread and not that the item has been sold and leave it.

By posting in the tread, it will be "bumped" to the top of the forum.

Ok - I'm a bit baffled. I do not have the "Post New Thread" button showing anywhere. I am logged in. I read the rules and it says that all you need is be a member - no other requirements to sell something.

How do you post a new for sale thread?

Thanks for that - missed reading that thread.

Ehh - I'm going to skip it. I certainly don't want my phone number advertised on an open forum.
